The variation of gene expression seeds or leaves Arabidopsis thaliana was investigated by irradiation with oxygen and air plasmas. plasma reported on the growth promotion induced consequence in plant cells neutral active species. increase leaf area ratio to due epigenetics such as activation DNA demethylation transcription factors enhancement effect inherited next-generation through cell division even after germination. In for 10 s, each de-DNA methylation-related increased, genes decreased expression. acetylation that induces expressions suppressed. However, irradiated 20 s oxygen, both suppression methylation/acetylation were obtained.
